
ֱ FMA is pleased to inform members of an upcoming integrity training webinar organised by the Treasury Markets Association (TMA), aimed at promoting professional ethics and anti-corruption awareness within the banking and financial sectors.ֱ FMA invites you to join this important event.
Corruption in banks and financial institutions may not only jeopardize the interests of various stakeholders but can also lead to significant financial and reputational losses for the institutions involved, as well as undermine trust in the market as a whole.
To address these risks and support financial professionals in maintaining high ethical standards, TMA is hosting a one-hour training webinar titled “Ethics and Compliance – Keys to Professional Success.” The session will be conducted in Cantonese via Zoom on 12 June 2025 (Thursday), from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.
TMA welcomesMs. Jessica YUNG, Community Relations Officer from the Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre, ICAC, as the guest speaker. Ms. Jessica YUNG has extensive experience promoting business ethics and delivering corruption prevention seminars to professionals from government departments, public bodies, private corporations, and professional institutions.
This session will cover the following key areas:
- The importance of integrity
- Common corruption pitfalls in the financial industry
- Legal and regulatory requirements
- Handling of conflict of interest
- Principles for making ethical decisions
- ICAC resources and services
Participants are entitled to receive 1 CPD (TMA) credit upon completion of the webinar. TMA is the administrator for the Enhanced Competency Framework on Treasury Management (ECF-TM) and a recognized institution of Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) for providing continuing professional development (CPD) activities. The CPD hour can be used to meet the CPD requirements of the ECF-TM and the SFC. To qualify for the CPD credit or attendance certificate of the webinar, participants are required to use the same registered names and email address when joining/registering the webinar. We regret that neither CPD nor attendance certificate will be given to those who are late for the webinar or leave early. TMA Office will update TMA Individual Members’ CPD record after the webinar is held.
