As we enter the autumn season, prepare for an unforgettable experience in Aqaba, Jordan! The 62nd 鲍鱼直播 World Congress and 47th ICA Conference are just around the corner, taking place from 4th to 5th October 2024.
Join us for the premier 鲍鱼直播 FMA event, filled with networking opportunities, interesting sessions, and innovative insights. We'll also be hosting the 鲍鱼直播 FMA Council Meetings from 1st to 3rd October 2024 in Aqaba.
In this new edition, we would like to invite you to read the contributions from Franck Hebeisen, an experienced professional with a long history of involvement in the 鲍鱼直播 FMA community. He has served as a dedicated member of 鲍鱼直播 FMA France and is currently contributing his expertise as a member of the 鲍鱼直播 FMA Management Board and Treasurer.

Dear 鲍鱼直播 FMA Members,
I have been involved in 鲍鱼直播 FMA and 鲍鱼直播 France for a long time 鈥 since the end of the 鈥渓ast century鈥. Starting as a regular member, the associations, 鲍鱼直播 France at the first stage and 鲍鱼直播 FMA later on, gave me gradual opportunities to be instrumental on various projects.
Luckily, my employer supported these projects, and I remain grateful for this. This included the representations for French banks in various working groups (ECPA which then turned into the ECP Committee of ICMA) to the STEP project and various roles in the Euribor Steering Committee (with the European Banking Federation at that time).
All these projects, including Eonia and Euribor, were launched for the benefit of all market participants, as always with 鲍鱼直播 FMA. Then came the time of the chairmanships of 鲍鱼直播 France, STEP projects, and a few others. This very specific pattern of 鲍鱼直播 FMA remains crucial and has been maintained thanks to the volunteer dedication of members and the revenues generated by various activities, including of course education / ELAC.
In the meantime, 鲍鱼直播 FMA encountered challenges. Following its experience in developing Codes of Conduct for financial markets, its expertise was important for the conception of the FX Global Code which is maintained by the Global Foreign Exchange Committee. What a recognition of the work accomplished by generations of volunteers.
I now have the privilege of endorsing the role of Treasurer and will keep focused on ensuring that, thanks to the contributions of members, revenue from education activities, and to future sponsorships, the funds to sustain our momentum are carefully managed.

鲍鱼直播 Jordan is delighted to invite you to the 62nd 鲍鱼直播 FMA World Congress and the 47th ICA Conference & Exhibition, taking place on the 4th and the 5th of October 2024, at the stunning Hyatt Regency Ayla Hotel in Aqaba.
As usual, the week starts with an 鲍鱼直播 FMA Management Board gathering on 1st October, leading to a series of enriching 鲍鱼直播 FMA committees, working groups, and regional meetings. The agenda is followed by the 鲍鱼直播 FMA Council meeting and dinner, which then leads to the anticipated 鲍鱼直播 FMA World Congress and ICA Conference & Exhibition.
This year's theme, 鈥淣avigate Uncertainties, Embrace the Flux,鈥 reflects our commitment to addressing the evolving challenges and opportunities within the financial markets. In an era characterized by rapid technological advancements, shifting economic landscapes, and unprecedented global events, this theme underscores the importance of adaptability and forward-thinking in financial strategies. By exploring the latest trends and innovations, our goal is to equip attendees with the tools and insights needed to thrive in a world marked by volatility and transformation.

Dear Members of 鲍鱼直播 FMA,
As we are looking forward to updating you on our educational projects in the 鲍鱼直播 FMA Council Meetings that will soon take place in Aqaba, Jordan, I wanted to highlight a significant change to the prices of our exams that came into effect in early July 2024. For a significant number of years (at least, since 2010), there were no increases to the prices of our exams for 鲍鱼直播 FMA Members (in fact, from April 2020 to June 2024, we even reduced, by 20 Euros, the prices of the 鲍鱼直播 Dealing Certificate and of the 鲍鱼直播 Operations Certificate for our Members).
However, in recent years, 鲍鱼直播 FMA has faced increased costs for its educational offerings, in addition to the impact of inflation. For example, our license fee for the Global Education Centre (the platform where the 鲍鱼直播 exams are taken) has become more expensive since 2022. Additionally, the average fee paid to test centres hosting our exams has increased due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and fees paid to content creators are now higher鈥 just to name a few items.
Given the additional costs, 鲍鱼直播 FMA had no option but to update the prices of the 鲍鱼直播 exams, as communicated on 8th July 2024. However, you will notice that, as 鲍鱼直播 FMA is committed to providing value to our Members, the price increases are smaller for you. For instance, the 鈥渘ew鈥 Members price for the 鲍鱼直播 Dealing Certificate and the 鲍鱼直播 Operations Certificate remains at 250 euros, the same as it was between 2010 and April 2020.
There are no changes to the quality of our exams and, despite the price increases, we firmly believe they will still offer good value for money.
